Grief next to joy in Mto Moyoni 

It’s with a sad heart that I write this:  Ritah, our worker from the first hour has passed away January 24  after a few weeks in the hospital. We all miss her terribly, she was a great friend and cooked fantastic meals. Pray for her two children Mercy and Ronald, that they may find a loving home and that they will find Gods plan through all of the suffering.

At the same time my heart rejoices because Peter, another worker from the first hour, is showing obedience to God in faith to wed his wife of 14 years. People often have no weddings because of financial constraint. But God spoke to him that He had to do it and in faith we planned and it is going to be a great party. We trust that others will follow this good example.

Extreme emotions in one week time, please pray for us as  we , with a sincere heart, want to mourn with those who are mourning and rejoice with those are rejoicing.
