Interview Dr. Florence Munduru, Chairperson Mto Moyoni – Uganda.
How did you get involved with Mto Moyoni?
I have had many traumatic experiences in my life but God has delivered me from them all. I feel I can share my experiences with other people who are hurting and they will understand. When I was asked to get involved with Mto Moyoni I knew that this is a project where God wants me to share with others what He has done for me.
Eleven months ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and operated upon in a Nairobi hospital. After the operation I was completely paralyzed for two months. Slowly everything recovered, except my right leg. It felt very heavy and it was difficult to walk. I was actually limping. One day during soaking prayer at MTO MOYONI I felt like an electrical current run through my leg. It was quite painful, it was like a shock on the leg. After that, the leg that was very heavy suddenly felt very light. Since that day I am walking very well, without any pain.
I give all the glory to God for this healing.
Why is MTO MOYONI important in Uganda?
- There is no other healing centre of this nature in Uganda .
- Many people in Uganda go through very traumatic experiences because of the countries war history and AIDS scourge.
- Christian leaders are very busy working for God, but they have not learned to wait on God and to receive from Him.
Why should people decide to support Mto Moyoni?
- So that it can help relieve the pain of many Ugandans who go through trauma.
- By supporting Mto Moyoni people are helping to spread the Word of God. Mto Moyoni wants to create a place where people can experience Gods unconditional love for the people.
- If people decide to support MTO MOYONI it is a blessing, the Bible says, it is more blessed to give than to receive. They are sowing a seed, so they will reap plenty.
